Four years ago, I met the love of my life. The first time we met, it was love at first sight. After constantly hearing it in the movies, I didn't think it could actually happen to me, but it did, and I have never looked back. My darling Jay, you mean the world to me. I might not have been able to get him the moon, but I know of something even better.

For a long time now, I have kept a huge secret, a secret that not even my darling known! Like all good secrets, they will always, inevitably, be revealed! Lets just hope that doesn't happen before it's meant to!
An anniversary is always something that should be cherished and celebrated. It should be an opportunity to make your loved one feel very special. Great planning is required, and you will be rewarded with a smile like no other! Yes, one always smiles, but knowing you caused so much happiness, that's the best feeling of all!
What did I have up my sleeve? Lots! It was jam packed. We started off with a lovely breakfast, then we went for a causal stroll with a cheeky coffee along the way. The highlight so far had to be the chocolate café. Lets just say it was mouth-wateringly exquisite! So far, so good.

Everything is going to plan. But, there was just one thing that needed to be sorted. For me to get it sorted, I had to leave my Jay alone for ten minutes while I went and sorted it out. Not long later, I returned with somewhere wonderful organised for lunch. Somewhere fit for a King. It was only right that I showed my darling where we were going to be dining, so I took him through this laneway with lots of really nice eateries. I think he was impressed. Eventually we walked into this building, I pressed the button for the lift. Jason was a bit suspicious when I scanned a card in order to go up. When we reached our destination, we walked out together and down a corridor. Eventually we stopped, I put the card in the door, and opened it. For you see, lunch was something that didn't need so much planning. A night of luxury, well that just had to be special.

While it would have been perfect just to spend the whole day in the hotel room. Unfortunately, it just wasn't going to happen. The next stop on our special day was a roof top bar where we could enjoy a nice drink or two in each others company. The first bar we went to was a little bit too quiet, even for me, so we finished our drinks and we were on our way.
The next bar 'Naked For Satan' was just right. As we were a couple of minutes out of the city, we had an amazing backdrop of a skyline that for a moment in time felt like the most beautiful thing that we have ever seen. Wanting to make my Jason feel like a king, I got up and ordered some drinks for us. When I came back empty-handed, he could not figure out what I was up to. Then the moment came.
After months of planning, the time had finally come. I had only one chance to get this right and to ensure it goes down as the most special moment of our lives. Lets just hope I don't forget anything.
And with that, I asked the most amazing, gentle, sweet man to be my husband! Of course, with a smile like no other, he goes to me 'I will if you get down on one knee!' And so I did. It was the most incredible, special moment of our lives. Soon afterwards, the sparkling wine came out. We both just could not stop smiling and looking into each others eyes. When Cupid fires his arrow, he very rarely misses! I don't think I have ever experienced happiness quite like it.

It was time for the final part of a day that will stay in our hearts forever. It was time to 'Fine Dine, French Style.' Madame Sousou was expecting us! This time we enjoyed real 'Champagne' a companied with exquisite cuisine which we enjoyed with huge smiles on our faces, gazing into each other's eyes. And to make things that bit more special, it was as if we had been transported to France where we were enjoying the local cuisine in the most authentic local restaurant you could find. And what made it that bit more special, we basically had the whole place to ourselves.
Like all good things, eventually they must come to an end. With that, we stood up, walked out the door, and down the street holding hands about to start a brand new chapter with a love that could never be broken. This is, 'Day One!'
Love,
Andrew
