After just over four absolutely incredible months, and two years of planning and saving hard, the first leg of our 'Big Adventure' has come to an end. The experiences we've had, the people we've met and the memories we've created will stay in both of our hearts forever. Our friend Kathrin will always have a big part in our lives and she will always, without any doubt, remain very close to our hearts. In life, it is the random things, the things that were not planned that make life simply wonderful. Before we went travelling, we didn't know Kathrin and a few months later, after travelling through South East Asia together, all three of us have become such close friends, which is really nice. Some of the things we have done and the places we have visited have been mind-blowing. I have so many places I want to go back to, including Pai in Thailand, where I want to spend at least a month, simply relaxing in a hammock reading a book! If you ask me what my favourite place is, I'm sorry, I know it sounds boring, but I can't give you a definite answer. We have been to some incredible, postcard perfect places that make it too hard to pick a favourite, If you want a short list and in no particular order, then I can provide you one: 1. Pai 2. Koh Pi Pi 3. Koh Rong Samloem 4. Sapa 5. Ha Long Bay 6. Siem Reap 7. Luang Parbang 8. Chiang Mai 9. Penang 10. Hoi An Of course, this list could change! Would I change anything from the last couple of months? Honestly, no! Those few minutes were the best months of our lives. Myself and Jason enjoyed every part of it and we would strongly (and I don't use the word 'Strongly' lightly) encourage anyone who is thinking about travelling to just go and do it. If you can make a couple of sacrifices and have a bit more money to enjoy, I promise you, you will reap the rewards! Stop hesitating and just do it cause it will be the best thing you have ever done! Myself and Jason have never looked back. Asia has definitely given us both the travelling bug and we can't wait to see the rest of the world, if only to meet some more incredible people! It's onwards and upwards for us cause we will spend the rest of our lives living 'The Big Adventure!' By Andrew
