A Blossoming Friendship

About three and a half months ago when myself and Jason were at the beginning of 'The Big Adventure,' something very special happened. We hoped something like it would happen but we never expected something so strong would be created! After checking into our hostel in Chiang Mai, myself and Jason went up to our dorm. There was no one else in the room. Well that was until this nice, quiet Swiss girl walked in. She seemed pleasant, but it wasn't until later on that we would get to know the real Kathrin! I remember having to say goodbye to her when she left to go to Koh Tao with Karen from Germany! Fortunately, we followed Kathrin over to the Thai island and we have been travelling ever since! At the start of our adventures together, her English wasn't the best and all she could say was 'That's so sad' and 'That's so nice!' Now, her English is amazing, the sweet, innocent Swiss girls vocabulary has grown so much that she now spends most of her time cursing! She reminds me a bit of Father Jack from the Irish comedy series 'Father Ted!' Kathrin now enjoys drinking, smoking, cursing ! Of course Kathrin has promised to make a guys dreams come through by having eight babies with him, of which he promised to make it onto the front cover of 'Forbes Magazine!' Kathrin is still waiting! Unfortunately, there is a strict rule that their must be at least two weeks between contact! It's kind of giving a treat to a dog! You can't give a dog all of its treats at once, you have to give one now and another one later on! Kathrin was told that she looks so beautiful, just like Celine Dion! While the 'Queen of The Alps' does have her wild side, she also has a sweet, caring side to her! When it comes to anything sad, lovely Kathrin doesn't want to know as she tries to block out any bad karma from her life. She tries to be a good person and shows love to all of Gods creatures! Anytime Jason goes to kill a tiny mosquito, Kathrin lets a ROAR, shouting 'That's your brother or sister!' If you put a cat or dog in front of her, her heart will melt! It's so sweet to watch. She will forever be 'The Mad Kat Lady!' Kathrin loves the worlds creatures so much that she refuses to eat them. Well, that's not entirely true. She did eat crocodile and prawns to name but a few! Doesn't she realise that they are her brothers and sisters too? Anytime we see a tree, our favourite tree hugger can't pass without hugging it! You see, a tree is also your brother or sister! They also have feelings! The poor Swiss girl was even told one time that she looks like a baby Elephant! I myself can't see the resemblance! Kathrin is a very strong minded person not only when it comes to her beliefs, especially when it comes to Indian culture, but also when comes to her stubbornness! If you think you can make her do something she doesn't want to do, think again! You have to admire her this quality! When we all went to 'The Half Moon Party,' myself and Jason came back early as Jason got too drunk. An hour later Kathrin walks in and goes to check on Jason asking him if he is ok. The response Kathrin got was 'Go Fu** Yourself!' Kathrin then went stark raving mad and started throwing toilet paper over him! You have to bless the poor Swiss girls little mind! Bless her! It's been brilliant having our own personal pharmacist travelling with us. Anytime myself or Jason are sick, the lovely Kathrin has a remedy for us! When it comes to food, Kathrin is always without fail 'Hungry!' When Kathrin weighted herself the other day for the first time since she began her travels, she was shocked to discover that she had gone up to a massive 50KG! She was disgusted as she had never been that heavy before! There is not a peck on her. She's like a little doll! Kathrin is not into material things but you should see the size of her backpack. To be honest, her bag is obese! I never new a bag could be that fat. I think Kathrin will have to bring it for a workout! Everything else in her life is simply 'Amaze Balls!' Myself and Jason are going to miss Queen Kathrin so much. We are so happy that we met her and we were able to share so many incredible memories together. The last few months have been mind blowing! We know that Kathrin will play a huge part in our lifes. From myself and Jason, we wish you well and we can't wait to get yodeling in the Alps! Now go fu** yourself! Love Andrew & Jason
