Leaving Dublin, Ireland

Over the last two years, we have done a lot of planning for the adventure of our lives. We have had to make sacrifices in order to get the finances in order, but we are happy to say, it’s all been worth it, as we are about to embark on something that we have dreamed about for so long. Of course it will be difficult leaving all of our friends and family behind, but the great thing about the modern world is that it is so easy to keep in touch. As part of our sacrifices, we have had to leave our jobs where we have been for over eight years. We have both made lots of life-long friends, of whom we have laughed and had many, many chats with. M&S has been a huge part of our lives for so long. It is even at M&S that I and Jason met. Since I started there, I have watched our customers start families and their kids get bigger, including our own families. The week before we went, we left our jobs, caught up with friends and family. We have even laughed more than once and we have managed to take the odd photo, in between all the packing and organisation. It was an emotional experience saying goodbye to everyone, but sometimes in life you have to make tough decisions. The morning we left Dublin, we were really excited, I was hyper. Most of our family and friends came to the airport to see us off, which was lovely. Jo-Jo even hired out a mini bus for her side. As a surprise to Jason, I took everyone to one side and I filmed them saying goodbye to us. He didn't have a clue, but it was nice seeing his reaction when I showed it to him later. We were both dreading the airport, but we are glad it is over. So now we can enjoy "The Big Adventure"
